GOKAYAMA BASE features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Nanto, 44 km from Kanazawa Castle. I like the hostel in the middle of the mountains. I have a relax stay eventhough I am the only guest that night. Kinda scared but was okie. The house is soo clean and had a good sleep after hectic days of travels. Nearby the world heritage. Love it

Super recommended ! It was almost painful to leave and I ALREADY WANT TO GO BACK! Also they're very helpful all the time; they show you in the right direction and on what to do around, even rent you an e-bike so you can make your way around ♡ Magnificent

She made us breakfast upon request (need to order 3 days before the stay). Food is delicious, especially the firm Gokayama tofu and original dip she made! The location is perfect if you are coming from Shirakawago like us. It is in Gokayama which is also a heritage site. They have gassho houses that are equally beautiful and not as crowded as Shirakawago. We felt at home at Guest House Yamashita-ya. Hope we get a chance to stay again!

Minshuku Yomoshirou is located in Nanto, 43 km from Kenrokuen Garden, 25 km from Shirakawago, as well as 45 km from Myoryuji - Ninja Temple. This is a great place to stay at. Ainokura is way more quiet and authentic compared to the touristy Shirakawa. The owners are a super friendly family. The dinner and breakfast is very delicious and traditionally Japanese, something you just have to try. The room was stayed in was spacious and comfy.

A beautiful cozy house that really felt like home away from home. The host was truly wonderful and helped us with so many things, and we absolutely enjoyed the delicious food that she prepared for us. Very nearby to the train station and many other places too!

Host prepared a delicious complimentary meal for our first night with complimentary sake. Rooms and amenities and neat and clean. Heaters, showers are warm. There's drinking water, coffee, cold drinks in the pantry, hall and fridge. There's a hot tub to soak in. Automated toilet. Great location when driving. 3-5min drive to highway to travel to neighbouring attractions. 5min drive to grocery, shopping and restaurants. There's a parking lot in the shed in front of the house. Highly recommended and will stay again in future.
