In the Shuzenji Onsen district of Izu, close to Shuzen-ji Temple, Hostel Knot has a shared lounge and a washing machine. I had a great stay at Hostel Knot! The hosts were very nice and kind people. Jamie helped me out so much and I would be extremely grateful for that. It is conveniently located near the onsens, the Shuzenji temple and the bamboo grove. I will certainly come back again! Thank you so much for the wonderful time!

Guest House Tokiwa offers dorm beds and affordable Japanese-style private rooms, free WiFi, a shared lounge and a shared kitchen. Located in Fujinomiya City, the closest town to Mt. Daisuke San and Daruma the CEO were wonderful hosts! All of the staff was very helpful and gave us so many suggestions for where to go and how to get there. The location was very close to the train, and the home itself was spacious and clean.

Situated just a 2-minute walk from Shirahama Beach in Shimoda, Beach Side Inn Shirahama is cosy friendly accommodation with warm wooden flooring and furnishings. We liked so many things about this sweet little place. Firstly, though just a few meters from the beach, but it's just enough off the main road that it was quiet. The outdoor onsen was a real treat, and we could even hear the waves from there. The staff was kind and communicative, even when we had to use translation devices, and graciously waited up for us, in spite of our late arrival time. The breakfast to-go was perfect. The room was comfortable, the price was right.... We appreciated everything there. We would definitely stay there again!
