Miyajima
Guests can choose to stay in a private Japanese-style room or a dormitory room shared with other guests. Private rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) flooring and traditional futon mattress whereas dormitory room provides wooden beds. Bathrooms, shower rooms and toilets are shared with other guests. We loved our stay at the Guesthouse. The staff is very friendly, gave excellent suggestions and helped us whenever needed. The Guesthouse was comfortable and clean. Both diner and breakfast were simple but satisfying. We loved our room, with the big windows overlooking the garden and the scenery of the island. Loved the experience of sleeping in a traditional room. The shared bathroom was clean and conveniently located. There were plenty games and information in the shared living room. It was an overall excellent stay! Thank you :)

With quiet street views, this accommodation offers a balcony. Guests can make use of a garden. The breakfast was amazing. So beautifully prepared and served. The hospitality is exceptional. We had bed warmers for the night and were sent on our way with hand warmers as the weather was cold.

Great location, large room with sea views, nice staff, good breakfast, good value relative to staying on the island itself (cheap, regular ferries, short trip). No need to train to Hiroshima.
It was very quaint and charming
Very convenient location. Staff were very nice, as most tourists don't stay during the night not a lot of restaurants are open but they gave us a map with recommendations and opening hours. Close to the torii, the ferry and the main street with shops and restaurants. Traditionnal room with tatami and futon was very comfortable and quiet. Very good value for money as it was one of the cheapest hotel available.
Great location away from the crowds. Great view of tori gate and loved the private bath.
This felt a little like a hostel with private rooms in the best kind of way. We had to make up our own bedding on the tatami mats which was actually kind of fun. The view from our room was beautiful. They offered a basic but delicious dinner included with the price and had cheap drinks and desserts on an honesty bar policy. The staff were delightful and there was a small private onsen that you could book to use for free. It had such a great vibe.
The location is brilliant as it is a bit up the mountain we enjoyed great views and as it is a bit of the tourist places this lent that it was also very quiet. The hotel is very clean and the staff is friendly. The private bath which offers an wide view of the shire and the sea. also in the evening when the tourist have gone the island is almost deserted which give it a very special atmosphere
The location may seem far from what everyone is here, the shrine, but Miyajima is a small island and the area with shrines and temples is even smaller so everything is done very easily by foot. The place is very quiet and well equiped, the private onsen is a great addition. The staff is also very knowledgeable and of great advice on everything there is to see as well as the good tips to discover the island in a more peaceful manner than with the hoards of tourists
Super charming and helpful Team, great location.
I planned my trip around Hiroshima so I could stay in this guesthouse! This is my second time staying here and I love it every time. Great amenities for guests, friendly and helpful staff, and great location on Miyajima island. I made use of the "kashikiri" private onsen/hot tub on the property and the luggage storage as well.
The breakfast was great We liked the private bath We liked the room was quiet, spacious That everything was clean, the landlady cleaned up right after the private bath the hospitality and landlady and host were very nice and polite to us there was a nice viewing room upstairs, and also chairs to sit down beside the windows traditional ryokan that is very well maintained location was 4 min walk to the floating torri gate
