Reykjavík city centre and the Route 1 Ring Road are within 60 km. A very nice and cosy place, it's not very big but it's comfortable and the floor heating was keeping it nicely warm. We didn't meet with the hosts but the communication was fast and the check-in & check-out process was smooth. There was everything we needed for a comfortable stay, the address was easy to find, close to the airport and some nice tourist spots. We've chosen this location, as there was a higher possibility to observe the Northern Lights, even if the activity is low and surely enough, we managed to see them through the window. The Gardur Lighthouse is also within walking distance, which is also a good spot for Aurora, so it was quite convenient. Also, the beds were really soft and comfortable and we had a goodnight sleep.

The family-run Guesthouse 1x6 is in the old part of Keflavík, a 7-minute drive from Keflavik International Airport and a 20-minute drive from the Blue Lagoon geothermal spa. It offers free WiFi and its own geothermal hot pool. Unique, full of art with fabulous hot pool in the garden. Breakfast was amazing. A wonderful end to our trip to Iceland.
