My best time in India! I am deeply grateful for Kumar and his staff for hosting me. I came to India for a wedding and wanted to see some wildlife in Masinagudi. Staying with Kumar was the perfect climax of my trip. I don’t know what was best: The food? The warm-hearted hospitality? The nice and clean rooms? The great safaris with Kumar‘s friend Daniel? Everything was just great! Since I work in the luxury hospitality, I know how to appreciate a lovely hotel and genuine hospitality. We stayed in Dahlia and it was just my daughter and me but we could have brought two more people along. Bathroom is functional and clean. Thondaiaman the caretaker offers simple wholesome vegetarian and non vegetarian fare at a decent tariff. Wake up to chai and a light bathing your room in sunshine; take a leisurely stroll down to the Kurunji Murugan temple and the vantage points on the way give you views of both east and west of this beautiful little town and the areas surrounding it.. Haven was a tiny slice of Heaven with lovely hospitality, food, views and beds to lull you to sleep after sampling the delights of this bustling Lil hill town. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
