First class facilties in the room- very clean, hot showers and a comfy bed. Large veranda with comfortable seating and a fridge to keep our drinks cool. Also equipped with a kettle to make our own hot drinks. Beautiful views over garden at the front of the house and our room faced the rear, with extensive views over open countryside. Genial and friendly hosts, with excellent English helped us when we needed it, but didn't intrude. The house is situated on the edge of the old village so we could get a small taste of local life as well as visiting the quieter temples in the area. Simple but tasty breakfasts, with good coffee.

Very clean, safe, homely place in the residential area of Khajuraho but within easy walking distance of both the Western and Eastern/Jain Temple complexes. Hot water 24/7 and wifi through a hotspot via one of the owner's 'phones. Very helpful owner who will also pick you up/drop you off from/at Khajuraho Station for an extremely reasonable price (in my case both ways were well out of "normal hours). The included breakfast is basic Indian but you can get eggs and toast for a little extra. Would thoroughly recommend.
