He was patient with me as I tried and failed to text it to him; was eventually successful in sending it via e-mail. When I made my second booking here, extending my stay, he graciously upgraded my room to a larger one at no charge. There are places to eat nearby.

This is an old villa in a safe, quiet neighborhood and there are rooms rented out individually. The shared spaces are clean and spacious, you can find everything you need to cook. There is a washing and drying machine, and a nice roof top too. Owner really helpful and kind. Public transportation to city center takes about half an hour.

Please note that this is in a family home - but you enter through the main door and go straight to your room from the hallway, and there is enough space and privacy so I never felt intrusive. and the family are really nice people . Travellers should also note that the apartment itself is up two and a half floors (47 steps) with no lift, which was no problem for me, but it may not be suitable for people who have problems with stairs. My host, Yoav, took my bags up at the beginning of my stay and down again at the end. He and his family did everything they could to make my stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible during what we all know is a difficult time in Israel. I really had a wonderful time there for several weeks and hope to stay there again.
