Housed in a building dating from 2001, this bed and breakfast is 27 km from St. Nicholas Collegiate Church and 27 km from Eyre Square. Ashford Castle is 46 km from the bed and breakfast and Ashford Castle Golf Club is 48 km away.

What a wonderful place to stay! Firstly, Barbara was such a wonderful host and she was so nice to talk to. She makes you feel right at home. The house is very well kept and everything was clean and tidy. Very quiet area too! Bedrooms were well stocked and comfortable. It's a short walk into town with some great restaurants and shops. Make sure to ask about the shortcut to walk into town. Breakfast was as excellent as most full Irish breakfasts are. If you're traveling around Connemara, this is a great spot to stay. Less than an hour to the ferry and airport for the Aran Islands. There's a beautiful drive that runs straight to Rossaveel. Kylemore Abby is about an hours drive. I wish we had time to spend at Woodlands a little longer! When we come back to this area we will definitely look to stay here.

We stayed here for one week as we explored County Galway. The house is centrally located, so it was easy to get everywhere we wanted to go within one hour. Mary and Gerry are fantastic hosts and made us feel right at home. Mary gave us great suggestions of things to do and places to eat in the area. Each morning we had a hot breakfast prepared to order. We wanted a local Irish place to stay, and that is exactly what we got!

You can enjoy garden view from the room. Extras include bed linen. Beautiful scenery, private, delicious breakfast with homemade jam included. Our host was so accommodating and friendly - we’d stay again if in the area.

The family owned bed and breakfast is 3 km from Alcock & Brown Memorial and 13 km from Connemara National Park. The harbour is a 5-minute walk away. Absolutely loved our stay there! The owner is lovely and the breakfast was fantastic. We would stay here again.

Situated on the outskirts of picturesque Connemara National Park, Ben Breen House is a family-run B&B offering modern rooms with free Wi-Fi, free parking, and easy access to Clifden, just a 10-minute drive away. We are so lucky we found this B&B place. Noreen is a very welcoming and kind person. The room was exceptionally clean, comfortable, warm, and cozy. The location and views are stunning! We will definitely be back when in Connemara!

Quietly situated, Mountain View Guesthouse is an Irish Tourist Board approved family-run 4-star guest house. It features mature gardens, free Wi-Fi and free private parking, and is situated just 3 km from the village of Oughterard, ideally located for exploring Connemara and Galway city. Everything was just perfect - Patricia was the perfect host giving us lots of great information on where to get dinner, local spots to visit and just general banter! We had the best room in the place (imo). Breakfast was fabulous and i felt thoroughly spoilt!
