During the night, this place is so quiet that at one point I literally checked if I had ear plugs on (did not), it's crazy quiet 😀. The view from the room is INCREDIBLE, lake Toba in all it's magnificence! This is what you come for to this place, nature, peace, relax. We will come back for sure.

Set in Tuk Tuk, Vandu's View Guest house & Restaurant offers accommodation with seating area. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. Everything was excellent! Best thing about this hotel are the views. Once you open the door of your room, you’re greeted by an impressive view of Lake Toba. It appears to be a new hotel, so the room and furnishings were new and clean. Location was fantastic as well. The hotel is right next to the water, so the ferry from Parapat can drop you off right at the hotel pier and pick you up from the same place. There are great restaurants nearby. I strongly recommend Coffee 2 Go across the street for breakfast and coffee, and Rosalie’s Beer Garden and Restaurant a 5-min walk away for lunch and dinner. Staff is friendly and helpful, though not all of them speak English.

Situated in Tuk Tuk in the Sumatra region, Leokap Homestay has a balcony and lake views. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the guest house free of charge. Very convenient location to walk around and check out different restaurants. The room was lovely and quite spacious with a comfortable bed. Staff were delightful and only went to the restaurant once but we had a delicious meal.

Facing the seafront, Romlan is a guest house offering a 3-star accommodation in Tuk Tuk. It has a private beach area, garden and private parking. We stayed for a total of 9 nights in Romlan; in two different rooms. Where to start with the things we liked? First of all, the staff of Romlan is very friendly and helpful. They even helped us with calling and getting to the local pharmacy to get some medicines for sickness (one of us got ill and they called the pharmacy that was closed due to the Sunday Service and they opened up the pharmacy for us). The food and drinks of their own restaurant were amazing and very tasty & variable; good price value as well! The location of Romlan is also good: the boat drops you off at their pier and all the things in Tuk Tuk are on walking distance. The views from the rooms and restaurant are amazing. If you want to hire a scooter bike you can without signing for anything and you don't have to fuel up the tank (when you get the bike, the tank is full). A free refill water station is available and also some tips & tricks about the surroundings of Romlan and the transport options from Lake Toba to other places like Berastagi or Medan. Definitely recommended to book your stay at Romlan when you are looking for a place to stay in Tuk Tuk.

Offering garden views, Laster Jony's in Tuk Tuk offers accommodation, a garden, barbecue facilities and a shared lounge. The property has mountain and lake views. Probably one of the best places I have ever stayed in all my travels. Room was incredible value for money, food was home cooked and delicious. I ate there literally almost every night, I'm actually going to miss the banana and chocolate/cheese pancakes and Rendang Chicken. I booked four nights, but ended up staying two weeks! Owners are some of the friendliest people I have met, and will help you with anything. Highest recommendation on Lake Toba.
