Set 15 km from the border with Austria in Mosonmagyaróvár, Lunczer Vendégház offers rooms with a TV and private bathroom. Surrounded by a garden, the guest house offers free parking. the owner was so kind, everything was clean and comfortable. It looks as a familiar business, so it was nice to feel welcome after a long day of hiking (25KM) she give us restaurant options for dinner and if you pay a little extra you can get breakfast at the place.

Citylife Rooms is set in Mosonmagyaróvár, 35 km from Mönchhof Village Museum, 36 km from Castle Halbturn, as well as 39 km from UFO Observation Deck. This hotel was incredible clean! I have never seen such tidiness anywhere. The location is perfect, there is a parking place. The place is really peaceful and quiet.

Offering city views, BRS22 Rooms is an accommodation situated in Győr, 500 metres from Győr Town Hall and 400 metres from Győr Basilica. Unfortunately we could not make the date booked as our car broke down , but we contacted the hotel and they will rebook us once we are mobile again. Thank you Áron Filadelfi.

A recently renovated guest house in Sopron and within 22 km of Liszt Museum, Ruyi holiday has a garden, comfortable soundproof rooms and free WiFi. Simply perfect. The only thing I missed was a manual "How to add water to the coffee machine" (not to say it's the first facility I've ever visited featuring espresso coffee maker charged with plenty of beans).

Set just 21 km from Győr Town Hall, Pannonhalma Panzió offers accommodation in Pannonhalma with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. Quiet, peaceful place. We used it as a base-camp for visiting Wien, Bratislava, Balaton. Very good value for money and very kind host. I recommend!

Set within 1.4 km of Győr Town Hall and 33 km of Chateau Amade in Győr, Riverside Inn - dunaparti szuterén offers accommodation with seating area. Excellent space, modern, clean, very good bathroom and shower, and nice kitchenette for basic food. Very close to old town center!

Offering a garden and city view, Villa Mimi is situated in Sopron, 23 km from Liszt Museum and 24 km from Esterházy Palace. The grounds are very pretty and so is the surrounding area. The rooms are charming and it was very calm and quiet. We were sent instructions about how to get into the property and access our room, which was all quite easy. We needed to leave early in the morning and were given a packed breakfast. There is a microwave downstairs.

Set in Hegykő, within 7 km of Esterhazy Castle and 28 km of Liszt Museum, Nyerges Vendégfogadó offers accommodation with free bikes as well as free private parking for guests who drive. Location was excellent, room cozy and clean, great breakfast, friendly staff. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend.
