Fiona, James, and their pets were as inviting as they come. We felt like family for the evening. The breakfast was divine. Everything about this property blew us away and the price was quite reasonable as well.

The good breakfast - best sausage in the world and  staggered well organised breakfast sittings. Fantastic bed and great bedding, very good fan . Interesting building, countryside, location. Sounds of wild life at night though a open window. Nice grounds and Good parking.

Thé property was furnished to a high level inside and out. Thé staff are an a absolute credit to this place. Michelle and Danielle went that extra mile that you are always hoping for when you have planned a special break away. we can’t wait to return with our friends.

Lyonshall Lodge ligger 44 km från Elan Valley och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi och gratis privat parkering. A wonderfully comfortable and quiet cottage stay with a sumptuous breakfast that accommodated us vegetarians and powered our hike for the day! Isabelle was great and the night we stayed she kindly picked us up from Kington which we'd reached after a days' walk on Offa's Dyke and saved my feet as I'd rolled my ankle on the way! Super comfy beds and shower and an evening herbal tea was so appreciated. Lyonshall is about 45 mins/1 hour walk out of down along a stream, it was a bit difficult to find the right route the next day but once we did we joined back up with the Dyke path easily.

We booked for 2 nights here last minute after a spontaneous decision to visit the Wye Valley, and we definitely made a good decision. The location was amazing. Superb views, and close driving distance for travelling to many locations in the valley. The accomodation was extremely clean, comfy bed and nice shower. The hosts were also very open and friendly. We were offered fresh coffee and cake on our arrival, and the breakfast selection was great, with tasty homemade English breakfasts everyday. We will definitely stay here again next time we're in the area, and have already recommended it to others!
