The room was spotless and beautiful. The bed was comfortable and linen crisp and fresh. We had a lovely stay and the dining room is a nice idea as you can use it to work and to warm up your food. You can get a take out and eat there. Parking across the road in the public parking for guests. Restaurant and high street within easy walking distance.

Our experience at The Dundonald surpassed all expectations. Laura, our host, was not only an excellent communicator but also incredibly caring. From the moment we entered the establishment, we were greeted by a relaxed and beautiful ambiance that carried through to our room. Candlelight and soft music playing in the background. The interior design, furniture, and art on display were so impressive that they could easily grace the pages of a prominent magazine. It was truly a stunning space, and every detail had been meticulously thought out. Breakfast was a personal and delightful experience, with delicious food that left us wanting more. We would highly recommend The Dundonald to anyone and hope to have the opportunity to return for a longer stay in the future. Additionally, the town of Culross added to our overall enjoyment, providing an interesting experience of its own.

Providing views of the Firth of Forth, Bay and Bridge in Dalgety Bay features accommodation, a garden and a terrace. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the view was amazing. Chris was very welcoming. This was one of the most charming stops on our trip and we wish we could have stayed longer. Definitely worth a visit!

Beautifully situated in the centre of town and literally next door to the gorgeous Falkland Palace. The property was beautifully appointed with lots of little personal touches. John, the owner, was super helpful and delightful. Falkland itself was lovely and the pub across the road did great lunches and dinners. Cannot recommend highly enough. Many thanks John for making our stay so pleasant.

We had the most wonderful stay at Claremont Cottage. Jane & Neill were the perfect hosts & made us feel very at home. Nothing was too much trouble, the room was lovely & clean & had everything we needed .. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choice options. The area is so peaceful with a lovely pub/restaurant nearby called the Strathkiness Tavern, which was very good indeed. Claremont Cottage is also only a few miles from St Andrews so it’s a great location too. I would highly recommend staying here, we will definitely be back again if we come to St Andrew’s.
