We enjoyed the calm, the garden, the sauna and the feeling of being away from it all. The peace and quiet were also amazing and we enjoyed having coffee on the porch. It is totally self-catering although if you don’t fancy cooking there are some places in the village itself where you can eat. It is easy to travel to Tampere and South to Hameenlinna too though you need to be aware that the trains aren’t that frequent. Host very friendly and happy to talk.

Just 20 metres from the Porvoo River in the medieval-era Old Town district, this B&B offers free WiFi. Porvoo Cathedral is 100 metres away. The place is so authentic! The hostesses were very polite and friendly. They prepared an amazing breakfast for us and we had a wonderful view by the window.
