This is a brand new hospitality project on the Brando island. Close distance to ferry terminal (11 km south and 14 km north) makes this place attractive for travellers on bikes. The hotel name is absolutely adequate!! Several rooms are in the main building, where guests also have a kitchen at their disposal, plus a few tiny houses scattered around the property. Vegetables from their own greenhouses decor the breakfast plate. A large shed where you can leave your bicycles is definitely an advantage during wet weather. The decor is completely new, beautifully reminiscent of the interiors of old mansions - selected wallpapers, armchairs, tables, bedside tables. Access to the rooms is provided by a code on the door handle - you will not lose your keys during a bicycle trip! The hosts very welcoming and helpful!

Lovely atmosphere with horses in the garden and a supermarket right next to the house. Breakfast was simple but very good. Gluten-free breakfast available by request.

Offering a sun terrace and views of the garden, Björnhofvda Gård is set in Björnhuvud in the Åland Islands Region, 30 km from Mariehamn. Björnhofvda Gård is a really nice B&B with excellent facilities and very, very friendly staff. Breakfast was also nice with more than enough choice. Location cannot be beaten: very tranquil, rural environment. Would definitely not hesitate to return when the opportunity arises.

Charming ambience in a peaceful setting. The hosts are very thoughtful and gracious and create a wonderful atmosphere for guests. Breakfast is outstanding, a real feast, and my dietary requirements were well catered for.

Excellent location. Kastelsholm castle and Jan Karlsgården open-air museum is in walking distance. Bus stop is also nearby (although I recommend hiring a bike in Mariehamn, if you are not with cars). Nice wooden buildings painted red, lot of greens, great environment for relaxing. Spacious room with comfortable beds, with sockets and lamps where needed. Wifi is good. There is a big kitchen where breakfast is served (plus tables outside if the weather is nice) and can be used freely outside breakfast. Also can store your food in the fridge there. Nattaya (the host) is very kind and helpful. Breakfast was very good and plentiful, we especially liked the homemade berry pie.

Very friendly hosts and very clean and quiet gästhem. The hosts even invited me for Midsommarafton diner. I had a wonderful time there.
