Fireman Center is located in Saari, 30 km from Patsaspuisto. This unique hotel offers free WiFi, parking and easy access to a variety of outdoor activities. The hotel is situated in a small village with a very good supermarket close by. The Fireman Centre is a very good place to stay. It is clean and well laid out, the room and bathroom were large. Olga and Sergei were very welcoming and helpful, even providing something for breakfast although it was not included.

Set in Lappeenranta, 4.4 km from Saimaa Canal Museum, Miekkalan aitat offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Very nice and quiet place at the country side. Room had everything (even two bed side lamps and a mirror) even it was the basic room. Parking just at the steps is always a big plus (easy to pack & unpack).

Lana Guest house in Simpele has a garden and barbecue facilities. The property features garden and city views. There is a picnic area and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Very nice apartment. Clean, fully equipped for our needs and the owner is very nice. Very much recommended.

Offering city views, Joutseno BB is an accommodation set in Joutseno, 17 km from Angry Birds Activity Park Saimaa and 20 km from Lappeenranta Travel Center. This was a one night stopover on a long car trip with a dog. We were late starting, so arrived very late at night, if not very early in the morning in the wee hours, as the phrase goes, but it proved to be no problem at all: we contacted the landlady to warn her, she responded immediately and sent us instructions how to open the apartment on arrival. We had a very comfortable stay including a very pleasant dog walk near the nearby lake. The apartment is fitted with everything one would need and is kept with impeccable cleanliness, the area is very quiet, the free parking area near the hotel is huge, road access is fast and easy - what else can I say?

36 km from Saimaa Canal Museum in Imatra, Tientaus 1 Apartments provides accommodation with access to a steam room. Close to the center and ski locations if you have a car. Very good price and the room for 3 definitely is worth its money. The host is very caring and responsive.

Situated in Lappeenranta, Villa Win is a recently renovated accommodation, 14 km from Saimaa Canal Museum and 17 km from Angry Birds Activity Park Saimaa. I stayed for 6 weeks. The bed was comfortable, The kitchen was well equiped and big (it was a little cooler there). The house is old, but spacious. Parking was available right in front of the house and VR train station was only 15 minutes walk. I didn't miss anything during my stay. The owner was kind and helpful when something was needed.
