The House is amazingly beautiful and the bed was so super comfortable and supportive and the pillows were exceptionally good. The breakfast was plentiful and the location was right next to the Old Mines which was a bonus and so was the sauna.

Located 1 km from Koli National Park in Kolinkylä, Kolin Mattila B&B offers rustic accommodation with a summer café and free WiFi. Direct 2km hike path to Ukko-koli from the accomodation. Beautiful buldings and location. Sauna and breakfast were especially good.

The building is charming and the interior is really cozy. There is vintage wallpaper and beautiful tiled stoves (functioning!) inside. The whole place has a great atmosphere. The host is a very friendly person :) There is a dog as well, she is super cute 🤍 Good breakfast, overall great value for money.

This property is set on a family farm, 12 km outside Savonlinna and 10 minutes’ walk from Lake Pellosjärvi. It offers a private beach, lakeside sauna and homemade Finnish food. Beautiful scenery with warm welcome from the owner.

Everything was absolutely spectacular. It was one of the cosiest places we've ever stayed in, and it truly felt like home for the three nights that we spent there. There were so many things that were free to use whilst we were there too, which was very rare! Coco, the dog, was there to greet us too. Very cute! It was especially convenient that we had access to bicycles too, and everything in Joensuu was within a good distance to the apartment. If you like pizza, I ate the best pizza I've ever eaten in Finland at Pauliina Pizzeria, just a few minutes away. Hope to come back again! Kiitos hyvin paljon.

Great stay right next to the park. The host Katri was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was a delicious assortment of local treats. Highly recommend.

The whole town is in the middle of nowhere, even by Finnish standards. But then again, this is probably the appeal :) There is a train stop though on the Helsinki-Kuopio-Oulu line for Paltamo, which is about a 10 minute walk prom the property. There are big stores and a petrol station too nearby, and of course the river and the lake, which are beautiful. You can swim too, if you want. The property is a large and fairly luxurious private home by appearance, divided into some private bedrooms and generously large common areas, like kitchen and bathroom. All very clean at the time of my visit.
