Yvonne is one of the friendliest and kindest people you will ever meet in your life, and this just made me feel at home and as part of a family. The location was perfect and had an exceptional ocean view with some of the most beautiful scenery on the island.

Pension La Cubana is in the pedestrian area of the old town centre of Santa Cruz de La Palma. It is a 10 minute walk to the beach and the hotel offers free Wi-Fi. The pension is an old colonial tenement house what can be minus for ones but for me it was a huge advantage - I felt like I moved back in time! It has everything you need, the staff is nice, respond on WhatsApp quickly, very early checkin was possible around 10-11 am, it has a kitchen, common room with balcony with a really authentic street view, centrally located, close to the beach, supermarkets, it was a really amazing stay.

Peaceful and charming place, wonderful and helpful hostess who makes you feel at home, well appointed little hut, unbelievably good sleep, close to the rim of the huge volcano crater, too many things I liked it.
