The bed and breakfast is a short walk from Girona’s pretty squares, where there is a selection of cafés, bars and restaurants. The friendliness and helpfullness of Javi and Olga made our stay even more pleasant. We had the corner room with the two balconies - lovely room (quite big) with a view onto the Ramblas as well as a partial view of the river . The big bed was excellent! Although we had a shared bathroom, we never had to wait to access the bathroom as most of the time we shared with only one other room . Breakfast was adequate. There was always a bucket with cold beer and water available during the day for Euro 1 each . You could help yourself and pay Javi or Olga in the morning. The location is very central to the Old part and it took us less then 15 minutes to walk to the station . There is a kettle and toaster and microwave that you can make use of during your stay . We enjoyed our stay and will repeat. Thank you Javi and Olga!

This small hotel occupies the first floor of a modernist building, just 50 metres from central Barcelona’s famous shopping street, Passeig de Gràcia. It offers elegant rooms with free Wi-Fi.

Location (close to Casa Mila and La Rambla) and authenticity (at some point you feel transported back in time). The place have books and other amenities around.

All rooms at the Ciudadela are heated, and there is a TV. Most rooms have a work desk and a private balcony. Great location, walk distance to city center and close to metro station. The room is comfortable although it’s not that big. It’s worth the price. There is refrigerator, Microwave and some bread in the shared common area of the house, where you can store some food and enjoy a simple breakfast if you want. Very friendly staff and quick response to all the queries. Good place to stay in Barcelona.

Pensió Bellmirall is located in the centre of Girona’s Old Town, just 100 metres from the cathedral. The simple rooms have private bathrooms, and there is a free Wi-Fi hotspot.

During the summer, breakfast is served on the terrace. In winter, it is served in the charming dining room. There is a bar service, and guests can relax in the garden. Full of character and extremely well presented

There was coffee, tea, and cookies, sugar, oil and everything you might need for the kitchen. You get the "cava" in your room too. Lovely and great value for the price.

In addition I may have had a flight delay and I was given comfort to come back to the hotel and figure out my next steps in the worst case. As a girl travelling alone, it meant I was safe.
