Situated within 23 km of Aga Khan Mausoleum and 1.2 km of Nubian Museum, Crystala guest house features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Aswan. This was an amazing find. The host and his wife that runs the Guest House are super helpfull. The room is recently build, so everything is very new, from bed sheets, towels to AC. AC is perfect. There is also a balcony on the top either a virw to the Nile and artificial grass, so you can just chill at the floor at the sunset. The water pressure and temperature of the shower is very good. There is a 24h boat that runs every 5minutes to the city and back, so no worries if you arrive late, I arrived at 02am and It was so easy to check in. They are amazing hosts. The Nubian Village where the Guest House is is clean and very humble. It is indeed a unique and humble experience in Aswan. I recommend so much. Go with your hearts open and will be a incredible experience.

The owner Mohammed was very genteel with us, he help us buy medicines and stay close for help in every movement.

Can only recommend this accommodation: 1) friendly host with great connections willing to help you book your trips and tickets; 2) solid wifi; 3) warm water in the bathrooms; 4) DELICIOUS breakfast; 5) Excellent location a convenient 1 minute stroll away from the ferry location when you arrive on the quiet Elephantine island - yes the road is unpaved and the chicken roam free in the area but you are located along the water and it always felt very safe.

The place was really clean and the staff were immensely helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed: from transport (even at 3am) to a felucca ride.

It's a fairly simple guest house on Elephantine Island. The staff are friendly and warm. Food is awesomely delicious (breakfast). Best breakfast I had in my Egypt trip. Very hearty and flavourful. And the guest house is right by the Nile River, facing the West Bank where the tombs on the hills are fairly visible. The sunrise and sunset is magnificent. The view is great and unobstructed.

Located within 18 km of Aga Khan Mausoleum and 11 km of Nubian Museum, Lawanda Nubian House offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Aswan. Probably the best place we stayed at in Egypt so far. The house is so nicely decorated, the room is simple but is brand new and the cleanest one we've seen on our trip. The owner Ahmed is so kind and helped us with organising activities at a decent price, plus the food is absolutely delicious. Highly recommended if you're looking for an authentic experience on a budget.
