It is a cosy family hotel. Ben and Nico & family made us feel very welcome. The room was recently renovated, and we’re glad that they kept a German touch ;) The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was also very good, fresh and there was enough choice. I’m very thankful for the fresh glutenfree sandwiches I got every morning. ☺️ Upon our arrival, we received free tickets from Ben, so we were able to freely use the public transport during our whole staying. Really practical, since there is a bus stop 5 minutes walk from the hotel. And Cochem is just a 9 minutes bus ride away. Ernst was a perfect location from which we could easily travel and visit other villages allong the Moselle region. We enjoyed our vacation and will certainly come back to this hotel!

Bright, clean accommodation with small balcony. Fridge provided also in room. Superb value for money. Already recommended to German friends.

Set in Bruttig-Fankel, within 10 km of Cochem Castle and 32 km of Castle Eltz, Moselpension Gwosch offers accommodation with a garden as well as free private parking for guests who drive. Our host was incredibly accommodating and obviously takes great pride in caring for her guests. She met us at check-in, walked us through everything, and coordinated breakfast. The rooms were spotless and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for us after visiting Burg Eltz that afternoon, before making our way down the river back home. Parking is on site. There are walking paths behind the house. She gave us excellent recommendations for dinner. The downstairs is accessible for an open tab on wine and beverages after hours as well as access to the terrace with a view of the river. She served us, sat and chatted with guests during breakfast, and was just lovely in general. She also made our children hot chocolate in the morning, which she joked was the best in Germany- but my kids actually said it was the best they'd had! Offering a garden and garden view, Pension zum Ahrblick is situated in Sinzig, 20 km from Bonner Kammerspiele and 20 km from Kurfürstenbad. We had the studio on the top floor, which was spacious, new, the entire kitchen, spacious bathroom, and even washing machine. The interior was modern. It was very hot and there was even an air conditioner.. we felt comfortable. The apartment is walking distance from the bus and train station. I would come back any time. We felt at home dealing for a week.

A recently renovated guest house in Üdersdorf, Gasthaus Paula offers sun terrace, private parking and sports facilities. It is located 31 km from Nuerburgring and offers a concierge service. It is a very cozy and comfortable place and very friendly hosts. I would surely love to stay there one more time.

Situated within 18 km of Trier Theatre and 19 km of Cathedral Trier in Ayl, Weingut Raevenhof provides accommodation with seating area. The breakfast was of really good quality and really tasty! The owner is really professional, attentive and makes you feel at home, we loved staying there and enjoyed the beautiful mountain view from our bedroom!

Offering inner courtyard views, Bleibe in der Brandgasse is an accommodation set in Alken, 16 km from Castle Eltz and 22 km from Löhr-Center. The location was perfect. Breakfast was not provided but this was reflected in the price so it was good value for money. Local supermarket and a takeaway close by as well as restaurants.

Offering a garden and river view, Wein- und Gästehaus Hermes-Hoffmann is located in Trittenheim, 30 km from Arena Trier and 32 km from Trier Central Station. Really nice and quiet studio apartment in the middle of the village. We had wine tasting and bought good wines of the house. Breakfast was excellent and the owner is very kind. There are good restaurants in a short walk, but nearest supermarket is in the next village.

Situated in Andernach and only 7.8 km from Monastery Maria Laach, Keller Höhe features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. I found the Keller Höhe while driving through Germany and just needed a place to spend a night traveling to UK, but it was much better than expected. Patrick was very welcoming and accommodating. Tasty breakfast delivered to the room was a cherry on top. Highly recommend, and I wish I could have stayed longer to explore the beautiful surrounding area.
