After a long drive from Villa de Leyva, it was a pleasure to arrive at this hotel in Barichara. It was beyond our expectations. The hotel is immaculate. Very new and clean but in a traditional style. The staff are friendly. Breakfast was very good. It is a small hotel right in the centre of town. They have a private garage to park.

THIS IS COLOMBIA HOSTEL ligger i San Gil i Santander, 41 km från Chicamocha National Park och 41 km från Chicamocha Water Park. Här finns en gemensam lounge. Cozy room, comfortable bed, hot shower! Close to center, restaurants and also not far away from Terminalito. The team was wonderful, very kind, they even arranged tours. Paragliding tour highly recommended. Thank you all for making my stay in San Gil so wonderful.

The staff were amazing and did everything they could to help you and make your stay as comfortable as possible. The two hostels (affiliated) were both well maintained and one of them had a nice pool and rooftop area. Between the two there is plenty of space to relax. There was always a spare bathroom, all of which were a great size. Tours and activities can be booked from the hostel, making it really easy. There were not a lot of people at this hostel when I was there so it felt very homely, I’m not sure how this would change if every bed was taken. Very affordable laundry options available. Overall, potentially the best hostel I’ve stayed at on my South America trip.
