The location is near the entrance of the national park (probably 15 minutes walk). Its quiet, clean and the rooms are basic but spacious and it has a mosquito net. The price is really good and the owner is amazingly helpful. Highly recommend using this as your starting point. Take a swim in the river 5 minutes walk from the compound!

Located less than 1 km from Taganga Beach, 1.8 km from Playa Grande and 2.2 km from Playaca Beach, Casa MITA Taganga provides accommodation set in Taganga. I loved my stay at Casa Mita. The place is a bit up the hill, so away from all the noise and very peaceful and quiet. There is a rooftop with chairs and hammocks with a lovely view over Taganga. I always loved eating my breakfast, which the owner makes himself every morning and is very tasty, up there. I had booked the biggest room and it was so spacious that it almost felt like a little apartment. The bed is incredibly comfortable. There is also a kitchen you can use to cook for yourself that has all the basic kitchenware you need. The owner himself is a lovely guy who truly goes out of his way to take care of his guests and is always ready to lend a helping hand. I can definitely recommend staying at Casa Mita when you are in Taganga.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Casa Feliz Hostal is a recently renovated guest house situated in Santa Marta, 1.4 km from Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino. Wonderful! More of a home stay than a hostel, which I loved. Enjoyed it so much that I'm coming back. Great Wifi too!

Eco Hostal Kuima is located in El Zaino and features a pool with a view and mountain views. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. The room, pool, garden and facilities were all outstanding. Victor the host is very helpful and a great guy. The breakfast was a great start to the day. We stayed here for 2 nights before hiking in Tayrona and then decided to stay another 2 nights afterwards as it was so enjoyable.
