Located in Puerto Nariño in the Amazonas region, Maiku Amazonas-Puerto Nariño has a garden. Excellent breakfast, excellent location on the top of the hill. The hotel has a roof top level with hammocks and a great view of the river. The owner could not have been more friendly and accommodating. The whole place was truly a garden of Eden. We were offered cacao beans to suck on and he explained the process of making chocolate. Because I am a beekeeper, he gave us a tour of his hives with stingless, native to the amazon honey bees. We could not have been more pleased with everything. And Puerto Narino is so beautiful - with it's clean sidewalks and NO motor vehicles. A big contrast from Leticia where we started our trip.

The place was lovely, clean and it had everything we needed. Donia Luz Nelly was very warm and welcoming with her brother and husband. A nice river nearby, and safe place overall. I really recommend Takania. The tour guide recommended by them Javier was incredibly helpful

San José HOUSE is offering accommodation in Leticia. There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service. Really friendly hosts who were able to provide lots of info about Leticia, clean room and strong fan. We were allowed to check in early.
