The hosts, Jason and his wife have been extremely friendly, helpful and in general very attentive to make it a throughout great stay. The hotel is just beautiful with it's wooden details and of course the rooms view is incredible. Even the food seemed to be better here, than in the surrounding restaurants. Apart from the hotel it's a super nice area with little villages between the rice terraces. Also great for day-hikes.

The owners were very friendly, welcoming and helpful in making our trip such an enjoyable and memorable one! We really enjoyed our stay here and would love to be back!

I am from Arizona United States and i came to San Jiang with my 24 year old son hoping to expose him to the local culture and people. I absolutely loved the experience of staying in the heart of a local minority village! The Lost World building is a solid wood 3 story structure that has been completed remodeled with modern comforts (beds showers and amenities ) while maintaining the original architecture integrity and beauty! The people are so nice and welcoming and the village people (young and old) dressed in their traditional clothes and put on a wonderful performance for all tourists. There are no cars in the village except at the entrance so we just walked around and took in the beautiful scenery. Also I am very impressed how clean the restrooms are and the villages are as the local people are sweeping constantly! A special praise to the owner Wei and his staff they made sure we had western style breakfast and also cooked us a delicious dinner with a variety of local fresh vegetables and meats. We walked through several villages full of small shops and the nicely paved country paths along the river. Absolutely picture perfect green farm fields and mountains and I feel like I am indeed in a beautiful lost world! So glad we stay here and will love to come back again and stay longer next time!

This is truly a gem. Nice, comfortable, clean. A stunning view. It is not difficult to find, after the embroidery hall,, - looks like an elenguated wooden Pavillion on the left hand side, turn left over the bridge and when you walk a little bit up the hill, there you are. The Hotel offered a pick up from the central parking lot. Thank you. Since it was low season I got an upgrade to an higher level. Air-conditioning and TV. The Lady chef knows her kitchen., decent coffee, water and hot water available, ice cold beer reasonable price from across little shop. Dinner with famous bamboo rice option. Nice English speaking Ladies and if not use your translator. I would come anytime again.

We arrived at 1.00 am and were still welcomed very friendly by the staff. The family room is spacious with beautiful furniture that suits the building, great view! We had dinner twice and really enjoyed it, especially the stuffed tofu is delicious. Summer and her family are great hosts, Summer helped us with transport and was available for us at any time. Also, the location- on the ridge- at the end of this authentic village has to be mentioned. In the evening, with all the day tourists gone, the tranquil vibe and peace are amazing.

All their staff were so amazing and went out of their way to take care of my family and I. They’re super helpful and their service was absolutely top notch. I love how they have their on site restaurant and served great western and Chinese food which meant we could pretty much choose to stay in the hotel all day long if we wanted to. It made meals for kids a lot easier and stress free! The small touches pushed the experience over the top - when I brought an apple to the courtyard for breakfast they immediately asked if I wanted it peeled and cut!

I was after a retreat from the city and that’s exactly what I got, didn’t want to leave! 老张 is very hospitable - always checking if you’re hungry and then will whip something up in the kitchen. Another guest that arrived said they wanted to hike some of the nearby hills so 老张 was like, ‘let’s go!’ and took us - the entrance is through someone else’s kitchen/back garden so we’d never have got access ourselves. He also mentioned he could take us to places to swim, climb etc. Really love the village atmosphere, everyone knows each other and knows the secret routes/best food spots. Reminded me of my rural village community in the UK. I was able to borrow 老张‘s road bike and cycled to the river to catch one of the rafts, it’s about a ~30min leisurely cycle to get there. There are cycle/foot paths along the river too, so another nice way to experience the scenery. The hotel itself is very quaint. I had one of the Japanese style single rooms and was very happy there, it looks exactly like the picture. They will pre-heat the bed for you in the colder months, nice touch! Water, tissues, towel etc all provided. The toilets and showers are just downstairs, a 10 second walk, and are very pleasant. The toilets are the Japanese ones with heated seats etc. The other helper is also lovely, and she packed my rucksack with fresh pomelo when I set off for my cycle excursion. They grow pomelo etc. beside the house, and also have chickens so eggs fresh too. Loved the rooftop, very zen and great view over the hills. They also have some friendly cats. Will 100% return.

The homecooked meals were much needed after a week of hotel food prior to us arriving at Longji One Art.
