Sandro, the owner is an awesome guy. He can often be seen waiting on the street for his guests, and greets them by name. This place is exceptionally clean and comfortable. The large kitchen is well stocked with what every you need for cooking. There is a supermarket close by. The rooms are large and comfortable, the showers with very hot water, and optic fiber fast wifi! It's on the waterfront and very peaceful to sit outside in the sun room. Coffee is available always, I would return there anytime in in Castro! Thanks Sandro for the great visit. PS its a safe neighborhood but he also has secure parking for my motorcycle Highly recommended

Featuring a garden and views of sea, Hotel CasaQuinchao is a recently renovated bed and breakfast set in Achao, a few steps from Achao Beach. Our only regret is we didn't stay long enough! This place deserves at least a few days if you want to unwind and explore the island, it makes a great base. It's located beachfront in Achao and our bedroom had a fabulous view of the beach and islands. The sky at sunrise and sunset was beautiful. It was peaceful, quiet and comfortable. Our hosts Cecilia and Mario were all we could have hoped for. Super friendly and hospitable, and really interesting to talk to. We stayed the following night in Ancud, and I really wish we had stayed the extra night at Hotel CasaQuinchao instead.
