The stay was great, Carolina waited for us on a cold rainy night. Room was warm and the shower is good. Carolina is also a writer and we ended up buying a book she wrote about the arts in the souther regions.

She made sure we had plenty more timber too. The room was very spacious and lovely and warm. Breakfast was also very generous and nice.

Located in Bahía Murta in the Aysen region, Refugio La Rinconada features a garden. This property offers access to a patio and free private parking. Beautiful location. Very cozy. Clean and comfortable. This is our second stay and the hosts could not have been nicer. We will return.

A recently renovated guest house, Hostal Esquina Patagónica offers accommodation in Coihaique. The property has mountain and city views. We loved our stay here in the quad room with private bathroom on the second floor. It has lovely views, beds are super comfortable and shower has lots of hot water and pressure. Just be careful as the small tub can be slippery. Everything was spotlessly clean. There is a common area, a kitchen, a library on the first floor and an honor fridge with drinks. Quiet time is 22:00 but we heard no noise at any time. Front door is opened and secured by an access code and there is a locked parking lot but we just parked on the street. Wifi was excellent everywhere in the hostal. Breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, ham, cheese, salami and scrambled eggs. Coffee is very good. Hostess Gabi is a delight, full of enthusiasm, smiles and lots of tips to enjoy your stay. She and her sister truly care about making their hostel the best it can be and it shows. Will definitely stay there again if we are in Coyhaique.
