It felt like you were staying in your own chalet with friends and family and they offered freshly cooked meals and breakfast. Set within 17 km of Train station Montreux and 41 km of Evian Masters Golf Club in Aigle, B&B L'Eden offers accommodation with seating area. Even before I had my accident, where I broke my collarbone, this was a fabulous place to stay. A beautiful house and garden in a quiet neighbourhood. Near the railway station (not noisy.) Good Italian restaurant just 8 minute's walk. When I experienced an unfortunate accident, Gunther and his wife Maria drove 60 minutes up and down a local mountain to recover my bicycle and car. They also took me to the hospital and collected me afterward. For the next two days they looked after me as I needed - and even cooked me evening meals. Gunther and Maria are exceedingly kind people, and I was very lucky to choose this place to stay.

We loved the furniture and the attention to details, the coffee and tea facilities, the location, the generous room size. We would definitely come again.

Fabulous hotel and beautifully decorated and stylish rooms.. a real gem of a place to stay! Offering a spa centre and hot tub, the Château de Mathod is located in Mathod in the Vaud Region, 28 km from Lausanne. Free private parking is available on site. It was all perfect. The host was the most charming, helpful and kind person. Always available to help. Before showing us to our room he gave us a small tour of the space even though it was already late. Cell reception inside the room was not optimal but to me it worked wonders, less work related calls, that's why I'm not putting it in the negative. The room was perfect, super comfy and cosy. I recommend at 100% that everyone try their spa, it was the best kept spa I visited.
