Incredibly beautiful property, very quiet and nice view on the lake. The kitchen has everything we needed for cooking, breakfast on the terrace is just great. The city of Saguenay ist approx. 10-15 min. away by car with lots of restaurants and supermarkets. This place is a huge recommondation for all travellers.

Grangette Entre Chiens et Loups is a 3-star property situated in LʼAnse-Saint-Jean. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The guest house has family rooms. I'm not a dog lover but was attracted by the price, location and great reviews. Incredible place. Very clean for starters - no dog hairs, e.g., on the inside, which I had been a bit worried about. And to my surprise I really loved THESE dogs - magnificent, strong animals but also well-behaved and gentle. They're obviously well-trained and well-treated. I almost didn't go on the morning walk, and that would have been a big mistake - it turned out (like for many people!) to be a highlight of my trip. I'd love to go back in the winter for the sledding. Also, as all reviewers rightly note, the owners are very friendly.

Gîte de la Montagne Enchantée provides spa facilities and a public bath, as well as air-conditioned accommodation in Metabetchouan, 31 km from Val Jalbert Historic Village. Although the property was away from the nearby town, it was located in a wooded area where the owner had made several walking tracks that we enjoyed. The room was fine with good views out over the garden area and also had a nice terrace.

Almatoit in Alma has 3-star accommodation with barbecue facilities. This bed and breakfast features free private parking and luggage storage space. We loved our stay at the Almatoit! It was absolutely stunning and so welcoming. Aurélie gave such great advice of places to visit and was so warm and kind. The breakfast was so delicious and we loved being able to try local food. We will definitely recommend the Almatoit to friends and would love to visit again!

The place was very clean, comfortable and cozy. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. Also the breakfast delicious!
