The staff were friendly and welcoming. It was clean and tidy - felt like home! The Fish Pie WAS THE BEST I HAVE EVER EATEN - ANYWHERE!! Breakfast was excellent too.

In fact, the history of "Slaymaker & Nichols" is interesting and should be read in advance by the guests. Located in downtown Charlottetown, this historic (circa 1857) building has maintained its period charm after being converted into a modern boutique inn. Boutique and quiet but close to restaurants and points of interest. Staff all very friendly and helpful.

Both the breakfast and the dinner (I would recommend eating there at least one night) were outstanding! Don't miss the Greenwich national park and Basin Head provincial park which are two outstanding beaches in the area. The fishing village of North Lake Harbour is also worth checking out as a slightly off the beaten track destination.
