The place looks like it just sprang out from a fairy-tale book; it is perfectly located; every tiny little detail is taken care of and yet it remains homely. The owners are charming and go out of their way to assist. We could not dine there because, silly me, I did not read till the end of the confirmation email, which specified that advanced booking was required for the restaurant. And so we missed out on a gourmet dinner. So, future guests, do read the email till the end.

Set in Annapolis Royal, The Lark & Loon Inn offers accommodation with air conditioning and access to a garden. The property features garden and quiet street views. Staying at the Lark and Loon was one of the nicest travel experiences I ever had! The house is freshly renovated, Kevin and his wife just took it over last year and decorated it in a superlovely way, both the community- and the bedrooms. It really feels like staying in a Noble house from some golden age long, long ago. Marvelous! The two go the extra mile to make your experience special. There is plenty of delicious local tea (served in beautiful Chinaware), an icebucket and chrystal glasses were easily found for Champagne and Kevin is a great storyteller with good knowledge of history, social life and even classic motorcars ;-) All in all, I would be more than happy if I get the chance to return to Annapolis Roval and the Lark and Loon! Situated within 6.7 km of Membertou Trade & Convention Centre and 46 km of Fortress of Louisbourg in Membertou, Back Home Bed and Breakfast provides accommodation with seating area. The room was perfect. Must be the master bedroom of the house with a huge king bed ,plenty of space and a luxurious bathroom.. Breakfast was plentiful although the day's selection for French toast and sausages was not perfect for me, I should have asked for eggs which were prepared for another customer.

Set in Chéticamp, Cheticamp Outback Inn offers free WiFi throughout the property. Every room comes with a balcony. Quiet country setting only 5 minutes from town with fewer guests for a homey atmosphere. The owners were on site and spent time talking to us about things to do and the history of the area. Michelle (the owner) thought of everything - water in the fridge, cups plates and napkins and cutlery, and mosquito repellant so we could sit outside at night, the treats from the local bakery were an added touch. Would definitely stay there again.
