Die Unterkunft Vista do Lago Jungle Lodge bietet einen Außenpool, einen Garten, ein Restaurant und eine Bar in Cajual. What a fantastic time we had staying at the lodge. We hired a brilliant English speaking guide and a boat pilot for the week through the lodge (additional to the accommodation costs) and they organised an itinerary to tour the local area and beyond. The food was great and varied (beef/chicken/pork/fish etc), including local fish that we caught in the day. It was amazing to live in the riverside community if only for a week, and we hope to come back in the wet season when the water is higher and the landscape has changed.

Die Unterkunft Refúgio Samauma bietet einen Garten, einen eigenen Strandbereich, ein Restaurant und eine Bar in Manaus. We stayed at the Refúgio for a weekend and we were the only guests on the site. Ana Ligia and her family welcomed us with open arms and did everything in their power to make us feel like home. The lodge is, as stated, quite rustic – so not for everyone. But for those who enjoy nature and being somewhere outside of the busy city life of Manaus, it's perfect. We especially loved the breakfast with açaí and lots of fresh fruit and the fish that Ana Ligia made for lunch. As a hostess, she also helped us when we missed our boat to get to the Refúgio and helped us as well on our way back. We really enjoyed our stay and, if we're in Manaus again, would definitely stay again!

This neat and very well looked after jungle lodge is not only beautiful and authentic but also safe in the sense of bad surprises by snakes or spiders due to intelligent planting. Everything is done for the comfort and authentic jungle experience of the guests - only 5 chalets although they have space for very much more. I will never forget bathing in the beautiful stream which becomes a river in winter. The food was amazing and the tours very personal and intimate. However the best thing about this lodge is the owner, Alexandre, whose has a big heart for the animals and nature surrounding him. He agreed not only to feed the starving neighbors dog, but came up with the idea of taking that poor dying animal to his beautiful lodge, to feed it and even provide medical care. This is what we did on my last day - we went to the neighbor and brought the thinnest dog which wouldn't even move to his lodge, we washed it, fed it and provided first help for its damaged skin and open wounds. Alexandre is a very special person with a big big heart - God bless him and give him strength and power to help and care for those who so badly need it. My stay was an unforgettable, unique and beautiful experience - I will definitely be back to check on the rescued dog, who we renamed Mariposa, meaning a big brown butterfly in indigenous language and spend more time in this beautiful place.

Sehr gute Lage. Direkt im Zentrum. Das Zimmer war auch gut, mit Klimaanlage. Wir durften unsere Taschen dort lassen, während wir im Jungle waren.
