Offering a shared lounge and pool view, Kamerlingh Villa is situated in Oranjestad, 1.5 km from Surfside Beach and 1.7 km from Renaissance. The people were all very kind and helpful. A small problem in the kitchen was immediately fixed. The pool was very nice to just chill at. The tortoises were a cool bonus. While the location was quite far from the beaches (we walked it a few times and took the bus, but some other form of transportation would definitely be advisable) it did allow to experience the real Aruba, a completely different atmosphere from eagle beach. And parceet, just from the window 😍

Boasting an outdoor swimming pool and views of mountain, 2 PALMAS STR is a recently renovated guest house situated in Aguadilla, 45 km from Rio Camuy Cave Park. The property has pool and garden views.... I loved everything!!!! Victor my host was accommodating in every way. I arrived around 9 pm and messaged him I was here to check in. He arrived minutes afterwards. I saw him often and he always asked if I needed anything, offering up suggestions, towels, TP, anything! He offered up ideas and locations for me to see and do during my stay. He makes this beautifully landscaped and architected building a delightful stay in a peaceful and quiet area, which was a needed must for me. I added additional days to stay and made this my home base. Groceries, shopping and town are a very short and convenient drive away. I've sent pictures of the grounds and my room to all my friends and family. They loved it too! Pillows were perfect!! The room was well appointed with everything I needed and more. Book this place!!! I hear an ice cream truck driving by now too!

El Conde De Atrini offers accommodation set 4.3 km from the centre of Santo Domingo and features a garden and a bar. The property features sea and lake views, and is 300 metres from Montesinos. Nice, clean and comfortable apartment with all necessary amenities, with great location and access to an enormous rooftop area with a jacuzzi. David and his wife are incredible hosts, very attentive, reactive and friendly, gave a lot of useful tips and it was just a pleasure to have a conversation with them. You really feel like at home. And the price is very reasonable for what you get. Recommend without hesitation

Set in Saint Martin and only 1 km from Orient Bay Beach, La Villa Hibiscus, Saint Martin offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. The ambiance was to die for The hotel director, Florian, is top notch

Offering quiet street views, casa maria is an accommodation set in La Romana, 8.1 km from Teeth of the Dog and 12 km from Dye Fore. Honestly everything was great. Maria is so sweet and she runs the place herself. She makes breakfast every morning and makes getting around for the day easy, just ask and she'll call up a motocoach or car. It's on the upper floor of her house (separate entrance up the stairs) and there's three rooms that are a great size with modern bathrooms, fans and A/C. The shared area is spacious and gorgeous, with a full kitchen, dining table and a nook with comfy chairs by the windows. It's in a residential area with a colmado on the corner if you need a quick snack or drink. All in all I think this was my favorite place I stayed at while in DR, and I wouldn't stay anywhere else in La Romana :). (Pics were taken after checkout but the linen and sheets were great as well!)

Complete with a shared lounge, Akunamatata Guest House Grand Case is situated in Grand Case, 200 metres from Grand Case Beach and 2.9 km from Anse Marcel Beach. It was clean, nice and quiet. The kitchen and outdoor space was very comfortable and it felt like home.

Set in San Felipe de Puerto Plata and only 1.3 km from Long Beach, Gaia Residence Deluxe offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Oh my God, I don’t know where to start. I love the hospitality. The slogan is: In Here You Are Family. They really do treat their guests like family.

Offering a garden and sea view, Turquoise B&B is located in Willemstad, 1.7 km from Playa Marichi and 1.2 km from Queen Emma Bridge. Sidney, the host, will make you feel you are in home. The accommodation has everything that you need for a really comfortable stay. The breakfast was awesome too and having the recommendations of the host was great in order to better plan our days.

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool and views of sea, De Octopus is a recently renovated bed and breakfast located in Sint Michiel, 1.9 km from Blue Bay Beach. Friendly family. Amazing laid back host. Was a bliss staying with them. They picked us up from the airport and help to arrange a car. Place is really comfortable.

Set in Lucea in the Hanover region, Blue Paloma Bed & Breakfast has a patio. This bed and breakfast features a pool with a view, a garden and free private parking. Our second stay at Blue Paloma, and the room, breakfasts and pool were as good as before. Andrea and her staff are welcoming and helpful, sometimes sharing the same breakfast table with guests.
