It would have been the perfect location to stay to get up early and hit the Grosglockner but unfortunately we were unable to due to a snowstorm in the mountains that closed the scenic road. Gethyn gave us good advice on how we could take the auto road through the mountain to get to our next destination.

The room is very spacious, we stayed in a triple room with a breathtaking mountain view. Everything was very clean, the pension owners are extremely friendly, very good hosts. The beds are very comfortable, we slept very well, that's very important if you have problems with your back and are a bad sleeper like me. I can't recommend it enough, i wouldn't change it for any 4,5 star hotel even if it was for free.
