I arrived for the day of Pachamama (without knowing) and the owners brought me with them to celebrate and explain a lot of things. All the tree in the property have a use, medicinal or not, and they are happy to show you what is what and those you can put in your maté.

Posada La Soñada in Tafí del Valle has a garden and barbecue facilities. The grounds are both convenient to the main road and feel very secluded—just above the town of Tafí. The lake view rooms have lovely balconies overlooking the grounds and view. I could have sat on that porch all day. Lovely breakfast, kind host, and it felt a world away from the hustle and bustle of city life. I would happily stay there again!
