Jorge was the perfect host: very accommodating and so friendly. He gave us very useful advice that made our stay in El Calafate even better. His daughter was helpful as well, and just as friendly. The breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were comfortable and as pictured on the web.

The breakfast is a-m-a-z-i-n-g. The staff is so helpful and nice. The dinner they offer is the best meal we had during our two week trip. The room was nice. The place is so cozy I wish we had stayed longer.

Danny and Patty are wonderful hosts. They were very cheerful, warm and helpful, and I felt like I had family in Ushuaia. They were very helpful in giving advice on what to do in Ushuaia, and telling me about restaurants, places to go, and how to get there. I also ordered breakfast and dinner, and both were very delicious. The room and bathroom are always very clean and comfortable. It's on a hill a little away from the main street, but you can get there in about 5-10 minutes by taxi, and it's in a great location with a panoramic view of the city. I stayed for 3 nights, but I was so impressed by the wonderful home, the family, and the beautiful city that I wanted to stay longer. It's worth more than just a stay.

Good room and facilities, very nice and accommodating owners - they even let me check in very early after an early arrival on the bus. 100 % recommended!

Located in Ushuaia and only 7.3 km from Encerrada Bay, Caballo de Fuego provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The atmosphere and people were exceptional! One night we had an ad-hoc, family-style BBQ during which Leo assisted us with the purchase and proper grilling techniques for the local Argentine meat. The hostel is a roughly 40-minute walk from the trailheads for a couple highly recommended day hikes as well. While the location is outside of the tourist center, you can catch the colectivos for free into town or take an Uber for around 2.000 pesos. Overall, it was a warm and familial environment with guests from many countries alongside Argentineans where you can comfortably cook yourself a nice meal and share a drink with other guests. LOWCOST MADRYN is set in Puerto Madryn, 100 metres from Luis PiedraBuena Dock, 400 metres from Welsh´s Monument, and 3.2 km from Muelle Almirante Storni Spring. Very very well priced. Very well located. Very great staff.

Featuring a patio with garden views, a garden and a shared lounge, Shai Shai Hue can be found in Puerto Madryn, close to Playa de Puerto Madryn and 2.2 km from Welsh´s Monument. Very charming accommodation, not in the centre, but close to Madryn Buceo if you want to take snorkelling with sea lions. Close supermarket and bakery. Lovely dog and the owners, ready to help if you need them, if not - they are always somewhere near. We loved the time we spent there. No problem with wifi and parking. You pay in pesos with official rate.
