An absolute must if you're in Northern Albania! This place is special and you notice it as soon as you walk in. The feeling of the whole place is great. We stayed two nights in the family room with our 2.5 and 5 year olds who had the best time in the bunk beds. The rooms are basic but have everything you need for a family of four. We ended up wishing we would have stayed another night. Our girls absolutely loved all the animal feeding, walking with the geese (thanks, Vittoria!), the play areas, making friends with other kids and of course the food. The FOOD deserves a separate review as it's just an amazing experience. The dinners are plentiful and simply delicious. The only problem is that you just keep eating :) Everything is locally produced or sourced and you notice the freshness. The mushrooms, blueberry pasta (I know, we were equally surprised!) , baby goat, cheese, fruits and their home made bread and jams really stood out for us. Their locally produced wine is also a great option to combine with the food. Breakfast was also great and our kids especially liked this as it included eggs in many ways, pancake/donuts and great yogurt with local fruits. We'd love to be back some day and would highly recommend you go out of your way to visit this magical place!

Gististaðurinn er staðsettur í Fishtë, í innan við 28 km fjarlægð frá Rozafa-kastalanum í Shkodra og í 30 km fjarlægð frá Skadar-vatni. Very lovely hosts! We were welcomed with some drink and a tour of the estate. Lots of cute animals that walk around freely, this instilled a calm and really brought our pulse down. The perfect start of our holiday! The breakfast was the best we had during our whole stay in Albania, everything was home made and home grown. The tomatoes almost tasted like watermelon and the petulla (Albanian breakfast pancakes) were incredible! Thank you Guesthouse Vitoria for your wonderful hospitality!

Guesthouse Marku - Mrizi er með garðútsýni. i Zanave býður upp á gistingu með ókeypis reiðhjólum, garði og verönd, í um 29 km fjarlægð frá Rozafa-kastala Shkodra. Marku Family was absolutely amazing, welcoming, kind and with the smile! There is a washing machine, everything is brand new. The breakfast was huge and very tasty, they also serve great coffee. The restaurant nearby Mrizi i Zanave was the best discovery of our trip!

Vila Livio - Guest house Rreshen Mirdite er með garð, sameiginlega setustofu, verönd og bar í Rrëshen. Gististaðurinn er með fjölskylduherbergi og barnaleiksvæði. The place is amazing, friendly host and his son, i highly recommend this accommodation, breakfast was excellent, prices are low, i arrived late and they made sure everything was ready in a minute, while i was offered excellent home made rakija, host Valentin was great to talk to and he shared a lot about history of the place and region. I will definitely come back if I'm in the area.And not to forget beautiful and friendly dog Bobby !!!
