Situated in Valbonë in the Kukës County region, Bujtina Malaj has a garden. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. Very cute and new property located fairly close to the start of the Valbone to Theth hike (took us about 20-30 min to reach the start of the trail). It seems other guesthouses are far enough away that you need to plan for transportation to the start. I accidentally booked for one person rather than 2, and the owner was very nice about changing it for us. We had a very cute double bed room with private bathroom and balcony. There is no restaurant at the guesthouse, but there is one a short walk down the hill, which was really good! The guesthouse does have beer/wine/other drinks for sale and a cute patio to hang out. We left early for our hike (before breakfast), and so they left us very large and tasty breakfast sandwiches in the fridge for us to take on the trail with us.

The guesthouse is located in the heart of Valbonë. The dining room offer a wonderful view of the mountains around us through the big glass window. The owners are very nice and welcoming. For 12€/pers they offer you a full diner which was very good. And for 5€/pers you can have a pocket lunch if you go hiking. The room was comfortable,super clean and matched the photos.

Fantastic dinner, and they packed our breakfast for us to take on the hike! They were even kind enough to give us a lift to the end of the paved road, which got us much closer to the trailhead. The family speak english well. Great view of the mountains from our balcony. thanks for having us! :)

Zeneli Alpin Chalet has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Çerem. This guest house features a garden. All rooms are fitted with a balcony with views of the garden. Zeneli Alpin Chalet surpassed all our expectations. The accommodations, staff, food and the view (the VIEW!) were all excellent. We would highly recommend to others traveling to the area and/or others hiking Peaks of the Balkans who are looking for an elevated lodging experience.
