Botha House was absolutely incredible. The authentic historical stay was above and beyond our expectations and we can definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves amazing views and beautiful old charm atmosphere. Charles, the daytime manager was an amazing host, filled with knowledge and the gift of great hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here on the last day of 2023 and saying hello to 2024 with the most wonderful breakfast outside in an atmosphere filled with incredible views and beauty. The place is not clean it smells there's mold growing on the patio area its disgusting as for the thick headed manager he needs to be fired he is rude and we were afraid for our lives to go back after he locked us out. The pictures look nothing what we saw the plugs werent working the whole place looks so rum down and not taken care off absolutely disgusting I hope they never succeed in this business because this is daylight robbery and I want to warn anyone thinking of even going here

For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
I loved that it was very private and very clean. There were a couple of other guests but I didn’t even hear them, absolute quiet. Love that it was close to a shopping centre.
Fabulously friendly staff (everyone, but most especially at the gate, and Amanda in the restaurant); perfect selection of cereals/muesli, fruit & yoghurt at breakfast (also kindly helped with early breakfast if going diving) and what a view over morning coffee; delicious dinners (including the buffet); open, welcoming and spacious communal areas; two pools to choose from; easy access to almost private stretch of beach; comfortable bed, excellent shower, aircon, quiet room even with family with kid next door :) Perfect place to relax.
The name says it all! It was a quiet retreat away from the bustling Christmas crowds. The room opened into a quaint courtyard that allowed for reading under the trees. When you sit and eat your breakfast on the lovely open-air verandah, the view of the sea is spectacular. The owners, Kim and Sander, were so friendly and accommodating. Not far from Scottburgh main beach and all amenities. It is very safe for a female solo traveler. The room was very clean and modern. Lovely design.
Easy close access to the beach. Within walking distance to very quiet beach. Also great location to access golf courses, diving etc. The fact that this is on a "dead end" means that you don't hear any traffic, just the sea. Air conditioning in rooms was an absolute joy. The host was very communicative and impressed us with the welcome chocolate on the bed. The fact that there was a bag of charcoal and ice upon arrival was an added bonus.
Excellent breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location and facilities. We really loved our stay at the hotel and definitely give it a thumbs up.
Everything was great! We had both the 2 bedroom cottages for our group which was right size for a personal private family holiday. The pool, outdoor dining and the garden with natural stream was amazing. Great hosts and good chat with Coleen and Andries.
