The whole area had networked issues so when we got there they were not expecting us as our booking was done online. There was no one to open for us we stood at the gate for about 35 minutes trying to call. We finally got the owner and she really made up for it, she was very friendly and directed us on how to get the key for the room. The room was very tidy and quiet 😊 but the plugs were off we couldn’t use the air conditioning until the next morning. But overall it was a great place to stay

At arrival on Aqua Vista, the stunning views captured our attention, along with the beautiful pool. However, upon looking deeper into the pool, we realized it was green and we could not see the second step. The host, a very nice man, was still cleaning the accommodation. As we entered the house, we realized there would be no air conditioning, only two fans. As we came into the kitchen, there were only four saucers, four cups, a small kettle, and a refrigerator. When the host finished cleaning, there were still cigarettes in the ash trays, and the pool looked untouched from its previous state. That night, cockroaches raided the floors, along with a caved in ceiling and cracked mirrors. The lights in the bathroom weren’t working, meaning we had to shower in the dark. Guests need to understand that there is no Air Conditioning. The views and the kind host were the best things about this place, however with thorough cleaning and a little renovation, this could be a gem. I would not recommend this to others, but I would if more work were put in.

For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
I loved that it was very private and very clean. There were a couple of other guests but I didn’t even hear them, absolute quiet. Love that it was close to a shopping centre.
Fabulously friendly staff (everyone, but most especially at the gate, and Amanda in the restaurant); perfect selection of cereals/muesli, fruit & yoghurt at breakfast (also kindly helped with early breakfast if going diving) and what a view over morning coffee; delicious dinners (including the buffet); open, welcoming and spacious communal areas; two pools to choose from; easy access to almost private stretch of beach; comfortable bed, excellent shower, aircon, quiet room even with family with kid next door :) Perfect place to relax.
The name says it all! It was a quiet retreat away from the bustling Christmas crowds. The room opened into a quaint courtyard that allowed for reading under the trees. When you sit and eat your breakfast on the lovely open-air verandah, the view of the sea is spectacular. The owners, Kim and Sander, were so friendly and accommodating. Not far from Scottburgh main beach and all amenities. It is very safe for a female solo traveler. The room was very clean and modern. Lovely design.
Easy close access to the beach. Within walking distance to very quiet beach. Also great location to access golf courses, diving etc. The fact that this is on a "dead end" means that you don't hear any traffic, just the sea. Air conditioning in rooms was an absolute joy. The host was very communicative and impressed us with the welcome chocolate on the bed. The fact that there was a bag of charcoal and ice upon arrival was an added bonus.
Excellent breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location and facilities. We really loved our stay at the hotel and definitely give it a thumbs up.
