Love how upmarket and refined the decor is for a small town in the middle of the Karoo. This is our 2nd visit and love the peace and quiet on the verandah in the afternoons after the long trip. Drinks are served follow by dinner - it is quite lovely.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Secure parking, aircon and electric blanket for the cold weather, coffee for the plunger, seamless exit arrangement for an early start, quiet room (kassier)..
Quaint building, and safe, secure parking. The homemade pizza we had for dinner was delicious - we ordered the vegetarian one and it was a wonderful, thin crust option big enough for two people sharing.
Great host, the place was perfectly situated for an overnight halfway stop from Cape Town to JhB. It was clean, safe, quaint and we'll appointed. They will cater dinner or breakfast including halaal. I will stay here again
