Convenient location for purposes of visit to Gonubie, comfort of the room, dècor, great breakfast, ambiance and the excellent welcome, friendliness and helpfulness encountered. Great hosts and staff made the stay even better. They went out of their way to provide a meal (left in our room the night before) for the last morning as we had a very early start. This was greatly appreciated.

I loved my 4 day stay at The Bird House. The garden is beautifully maintained and the bedrooms overlook the bird sanctuary and sea. Belinda was always helpful and cooked me a lovely breakfast each morning.

The cottage was so well appointed. There was everything in it to make my stay super comfortable; a small private garden and deck with a braii, lovely well furnished lounge onto a kitchen which had all utensils and equipment. A really comfy bedroom leading on to a super shower and bathroom. It really had everything to make it a realky enjoyable stay. Definitely one to recommend. Clean and bright and in a lovely area.

The place is very clean and neat.Their breakfast was nice. Very good location for a peaceful getaway. I would highly recommend it.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment. Excellent layout: roomy with 2 couches & 2 chairs, plenty of kitchen & fridge space, nice finishes & decor. We had our own private garage with remote. Owners were friendly and helpful & the place was spotless. As we were street side, we had a partial view of the ocean, but it was a quick drive down Main Street (3-5 minutes?) Gonubie Beach is beautiful and opens to an inner beach along the river where one can swim/ float in warmer water.

The venue is beautiful, and clean and our hosts were very hospitable. We wish we could have stayed longer. Their breakfast was divine.
