The dusty dry surroundings of joburg just fell away as soon as you entered through the gate. It was tranquil and absolutely delightful. The amount of fountains and busy bird life could keep you in the gardens for hours.

I arrived with my daughter at night for her to take an exam at the American school the next day. The host and her lovely dog received us and made us feel like home! The room is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the host even drove us to the school early in the morning. Very, very clean, decor is stunningly tasteful and beautiful, gardens are a dream. The bathroom decor was too beautiful. Very cozy, quiet, and most of all relaxing. I enjoyed all the bird sounds and peacefulness whilst sitting around the pool area. I took great delight in the beach sand around the pool area, felt like I was sitting at the beach surrounded by nature. The fact that I didn’t need to travel far for an experience made it so worthwhile.
