Daphne and Kevin were very kind and helpful. The extra common room with coffee machine, etc. was a real bonus. The gardens are beautiful.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Quiet and calm place to stay, with wonderful day time views, and pretty starry night skies. Only a few minutes drive to the rustic town of Barrydale where you can choose from a few charming local restaurants and bars, or stock up groceries and supplies.
Our hosts were friendly and helpful and the bedroom was very spacious and well appointed. We were initially concerned that the location on the R62 would be noisy but our room was actually very quiet and private, which we appreciated.

Beautifully refurbished Lodge in a great location just outside Barrydale. Our room was lovely, really private, quiet and very comfortable. The owner, Eugene, and the staff were great, and facilitated a meal for us on our second night when everywhere else was closed. Thank you all.
