Breakfast was prepared from scratch by Angie herself, using ingredients from her gourmet restaurant: luscious, fresh strawberries, fresh eggs, homemade pancakes, gourmet coffee, etc. She served it in the elegant dining room of the mansion that is her B&B. The Savannah Inn is an oceanfront hotel complete with a private walkway to the beach and an outdoor pool. Select rooms feature a private balcony and a kitchenette.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
The location of this bed and breakfast was perfect, as it was walking distance to downtown and the Riverfront. I really liked that the onsite parking was included, which isn't typical of hotels located in downtown areas. This hidden gem exceeded my expectations. Staff was attentive as this was one of my first bookings utilizing the online and texting app for check in and check out.
The pool was great. The location was ideal for walking around the downtown and river walk. We were within easy walking distance of many wonderful restaurants and shopping. Nice friendly vibe and always felt safe. Our room was quiet. Great shower with nice wall mounted shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
All the staff were very friendly. The breakfast buffet was a notch above other hotel buffets. It was conveniently located to everywhere we needed to be. Comfortable bedding, spacious and quiet room.
It was a clean hotel at an affordable rate. Although the location is not downtown I felt very safe. The parking lot was well lit and the entry doors are locked at night. Hotel was quiet and comfortable. One of the better Wyndhams I've stayed at. I can be a hotel snob but I'd stay here again.
