The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. We appreciated the food left in the fridge for us. The porch off of the room was cute and gave a nice quaint view of the property. It was also very convenient to get to volcano national park and the hosts gave a list of places to eat.

Great location - less than 2 miles to Volcano Village and Volcano National Park. Our modern, quiet, very comfortable and well appointed room was nestled in the rainforest. There is a short rainforest walk, just 20 steps from our door, full of colorful blooms and tree ferns! Our room opened onto a little sitting patio overlooking the pretty garden. The hosts have thought of everything - is a common sitting room where coffee, etc is always available and lots of information about the area attractions. Breakfasts were delicious - homemade banana bread, frittatas, tropical fruits.

I liked the funky-artistic interior. Loved the bath's sea turtle decoration but the spa tub is slow to fill so give it some time. I thought about hottub but decided against it after visiting. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was fresh fruit, yogurt in the mini fridge, and instant oatmeal, etc along with coffee and tea. There's no kitchen sink, like in most hotel rooms. Loved the feeling of being in a tree house, that was nice.

Extraordinary hosts have created a breathtaking oasis in the cloud forest. We loved hearing the birds at night and in the morning, the crickets softlly chirping, and being surrounded by nothing but greenery. Did we love the hot tub? Yup. And the numerous small snacks, jet bath, and spaciousness of the room? Of course. But perhaps the best of all was the warmth, knowledge, and attention to detail of our two wonderful hosts, Eric and Christopher. The nearly two hour kaffeeklatsch at the end of our visit capped a wonderful, memorable stay.

Amazing little boutique hotel in the rain forest. It was quaint but well cared for. Great option to allow you to spend a full day exploring Volcanoes National Park and then have an early start on the drive to Kona (so you can stop for lots of adventures along the way). We loved our stay.

1. The location! Firstly it was a short drive to Volcano National Park where we spent four days.
Secondly the property was large and covered with luxuriant flowers, plants and trees.
Thirdly it was very quiet.
2. The breakfasts included yogurt, ample fresh fruit and many snacks like health bars. There was a coffee maker and coffee and microwave oven.
3. The unit was spacious with a separate room for the kitchen and a single bed.
lovely private cabin that was actually much bigger than we expected! we had a lovely time here as it felt quite ‘off grid’
there’s space for one car right out front.
the fire inside is a nice touch and there are good cooking facilities etc. the cabin had everything we needed inside.
it’s a great location to explore the national park from
It mentions a continental breakfast, but it was so much more. Fruit, snacks, oatmeal, excellent coffee, the list goes on. Lovely, quiet neighbourhood, great hosts. Very comfortable bed.
