Our room was very large and exceptionally clean. The bed was extremely comfortable with an array of pillows to suit a variety of sleepers. Robes are always a hit with me, and there was a fair size refrigerator that held our 2 days of breakfast items, wines, and dinner leftovers. No TV - Yay! The birds, frogs, and tropical rain were magical.

Pam & Dean, our hosts & our guest suite, were EXCEPTIONAL! Ultra clean, well laid-out, nicely decorated, and hosts provided everything guests would need during a vacation. Their offerings greatly exceeded our expectations. One of the BEST B&Bs we have stayed in. A super "10"!.

Do not miss staying at Volcano Village! The room was beautiful and had all conveniences. The porch had 2 rocking chairs, I spent time in the morning drinking coffee on the porch and a glass of wine in the evening!
Bed was comfortable and the room very clean. Do not hesitate to book when you read no TV - they have a DVD player in the room and a section of DVD's in the office.
One thing to note - the Customer Service was excellent above and beyond expectation. I received several text messages double checking on me to make sure I had what I needed. After a long day of driving, I received a text - Do you need anything? Yes, can you please put some wine in my room? Trust me the wine was there and I was relieved as the stores closest to the Lodge have a lot to be desired - very little to offer at high prices.
The breakfast provided was amazing. I'm not telling you what was served - you need to Easy to heat up in the microwave and included fresh fruit. Co go there and find out! You will not be disappointed! Coffee maker with coffee in the room.
I would love to go back and stay again.
One last thing - office staff was so friendly and really made me feel at home! To receive text messages to double check that I have what I needed was a wonderful added bonus and experience.

Extraordinary hosts have created a breathtaking oasis in the cloud forest. We loved hearing the birds at night and in the morning, the crickets softlly chirping, and being surrounded by nothing but greenery. Did we love the hot tub? Yup. And the numerous small snacks, jet bath, and spaciousness of the room? Of course. But perhaps the best of all was the warmth, knowledge, and attention to detail of our two wonderful hosts, Eric and Christopher. The nearly two hour kaffeeklatsch at the end of our visit capped a wonderful, memorable stay.

1. The location! Firstly it was a short drive to Volcano National Park where we spent four days.
Secondly the property was large and covered with luxuriant flowers, plants and trees.
Thirdly it was very quiet.
2. The breakfasts included yogurt, ample fresh fruit and many snacks like health bars. There was a coffee maker and coffee and microwave oven.
3. The unit was spacious with a separate room for the kitchen and a single bed.
lovely private cabin that was actually much bigger than we expected! we had a lovely time here as it felt quite ‘off grid’
