What a BEAUTIFUL bed and breakfast! I cannot say enough great things about this place!! Centrally located, amenities beyond expectations, food was amazing, the entire grounds were beautifully decorated and maintained... I could go on and on! Staff was friendly, accommodating, and available. Cannot wait to go back again!
The location was excellent, only a 5 mins drive from Main Street in South Haven. The woman on reception when we arrived was extremely helpful and friendly, esp as we had laundry to do. Our girls loved the indoor pool and breakfast the next day was a cheap and cheerful way to save money and start our day. Shermans across the road was excellent for ice cream.
Our room was located well & would have been quiet, but for our neighbors with older children (not toddlers or babies) who were not controlled. They were kicking a ball in the hallway & talking on their cell phones in the hallway outside our room. We notified the staff and the noise eventually stopped.
Charming older hotel, perfect spot to walk around South Haven. Evening happy hour was a nice addition, and got to chat with the owner who seemed like a great guy. Definitely recommend staying here.
The location was great. The Inn is only a short walk to the beach in a quiet neighborhood. The breakfast was good and the host, Charlie, was always available to answer any questions and make sure we were comfortable. We especially enjoyed talking with his father, Robert, who told us about the history of the neighborhood.
The Monroe Inn is exactly like it is described on Booking. Very nice Bed and Breakfast. Clean and comfortable with everything you might need for the short stay. We liked the porch, location, easy parking and breakfast, of course.
