Honestly, for the sheer size of the room and the complimentary breakfast, plus the fact I had booked for my fiancé and her two children, it was great value for money, especially considering how close we were to the main streets. For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
The hotel was in a great location. It was near many shops, restaurants, etc. but not in the busiest section of town. The rooms were very nice and the beds were especially comfortable.
All of the front desk staff on my first day were so polite, charming and helpful. I asked for some ideas or creepy cool things to do. Zachary made me an awesome list of suggestions. The suggestions were so great, that I'm coming back to Salem to finish the list!
Great location for the centre of salem. Very friendly and welcoming staff, who are more than happy to share their knowledge of the local area. The hotel has a grand lobby and the rooms have everything you need and are comfortable and clean. The hotel is aged In places which is understandable due to the history of the building. We didn't have breakfast but it is an option.
