One can see from the photos that this room is decorated with a lot of character. It was quite fun and made us feel that we were indeed on holiday in Texas. I believe that it is most suited for couples; I was travelling with my adult daughter, so the bed could have been bigger.
It is so centrally located but sits a floor up, and is set back from the busy street. This meant that is was very quiet. And the room was well equipped with proper mugs for our morning tea.

Wonderful cottage in the middle of "nothing." Very quiet area with a view at the creek. The jacuzzi was great. Also, when it's warm outside. The cottage is big enough and the bed was very comfortable. We had our own barbecue pit. Don't forget to bring your own charcoal and matches. The owners are very helpful. It's an amazing location to visit Fredericksburg.
