Very nice rooms and the staff was amazing! The woman who checked me in let me have a later checkout due to me having to wait a bit while she dealt with a slightly less cooperative guest (which she did really well btw)!

Fran was an amazing, thoughtful host. She keeps the place spotless & couldn't do enough for us, upgrading us to a bigger room when it became available. Her hospitality exceeded our expectations. The fridge is stocked full for breakfast with lots of choice. It was warm, quiet, cosy and homely. We loved it.
And she has an excellent system regarding the shared bathroom. Was apprehensive about this before travelling but it was absolutely no problem.
The location is a few minutes from a subway station and bus stops. And only 40 mins by taxi from JFK airport.
I would definitely call on Fran again when visiting NY.

Great location, easy to head into Manhattan or Brooklyn from the closest subway station. It’s on a relatively quiet street but we felt fine walking back at night. The room was pretty spacious compared to others we have stayed in.
Located in Chinatown Queens district there was a hustle vibe on the streets. Very comfortable bed and luxury bathroom on 6 th floor. Cheap Chinese taxi firm to airport organised by hotel way cheaper than even Uber. Recommend pre booking however.

It is what it is. A cheap private room with shared bath near JFK and it was quiet as it states. Nothing special in any way, but it was fine for an overnight near JFK. I walked from the airport. It's a bit of a long walk, but fine. This is better than most of the under $200 hotels in that area. Not a good location if you're a tourist visiting NYC.
