Michie House in College Hill, hotel in Providence

Situated in Providence, 200 metres from Brown University and 700 metres from Rhode Island School of Design Museum of Art, Michie House in College Hill offers free WiFi and air conditioning.

The room itself was reasonably clean and spacious enough (as per pictures, but with dirty carpet). The towels and linens smelled of bleach which I consider a plus at such a place.

A comfortable, clean, quiet and spacious room within a home. I met the host Rubin only when checking in and checking out. I shared a downstairs bathroom with another set of guests but I didn't see them once so that was no problem. The room was large and also included an excellent array of toiletries and some snacks. Room contained a bar fridge. Everything was very clean and very comfy. There was a fairly direct bus route right into the middle of downtown which was very handy for connecting to get to other locations.

Great location downtown Providence and it was pretty much the cheapest room in the area. Furniture was a big old, but everything was spot clean, big bathroom, comfortable bed and complimentary breakfast was simple but functional. It was serve 6-10am which was great. Stored my bag before checkin and after checkout. Staff was really friendly.

An amazing old house (mid-19 century) that would definitely be interesting to see how these houses look from inside . Well located on the main street ( Broadway) within 20 min walking distance to downtown. Has a private parking with 4-5 places and several good cafés nearby. The district is quiet. The owners are welcoming and are very comfortable to communicate to. The house has a history , so if you are interested - it could be a bonus.

The location was great for us and the room was a very high standard with many little touches such as a heated toilet seat and Dyson hairdryer which made it stand out from the rest. The bed was really comfortable and the climate control in the room easy to use and not too noisy. We loved the rooftop bar too! A charming boutique hotel which we loved!
