We loved the place itself.... the old barn where breakfast was served was simply amazing.
But the main thing we enjoyed was the open air camp fire that was provided for the guests.

Once you got past the access road it was a charming place, the room well appointed. However, messages festooned everywhere should have alerted us that we would not encounter a host during our stay. Whom we did encounter was the cleaning staff, who at one minute past 11am, had dumped our things outside, thrown our stuff from the fridge away, and told us we could not use our toilet as they had already cleaned it! Checkout time is 11am. Quite the kind of hospitality service I would expect for a night’s sleep for $278. Unbelievable and Never Again!

We stayed in The Constance, which is a beautiful property in a great location for all the local shops and restaurants. The reception staff were very helpful both on check-in and check-out and provided us with some really good recommendations. The room was better than we had anticipated and was quiet, clean and comfortable with windows that we could open to allow fresh air in.

Beautiful area to walk or eat cheap fast food. 🍱 I loved the mirror and the bed. Pittsfield downtown is not far away and you can go 30 minutes by car to the amazing The Clark Museum or Tanglewood for concerts. I also liked the pool!
Great location and you can tell that the owners are making improvements. We were cool and comfortable in spite of the heat…the pool wasn’t that inviting - needs privacy via plants.
